Epistle

Cast the Net Within

All night you cast for meaning — and came up empty. A stranger on the shore says: cast the net on the right side. That means within. Where seeking becomes finding.

AwakeningRecognitionPresence

The disciples worked all night. Nets. Sea. Darkness. Nothing.

At dawn a stranger appeared on the shore and said: “Cast the net on the right side of the boat.”

They cast — and the net filled.

This scene is not only a fishing story. It is a map of the spiritual search.

You too, perhaps, have been casting all night. Seeking meaning in traditions, systems, teachings, the experience of others. You tried. You tired. And came to dawn with empty nets.

The stranger on the shore is the voice that says: change sides. Not outward — inward. Not into the future — into the present. Not into knowledge about God — into the Presence of God.

One turn of attention. From seeking outside — to what is already here.

And the net fills. Not because you finally found the right method. But because He was always on this side.
