Why is God silent? God answers: “YOU ARE the answer to the prayer”

Why is God silent? You’ve been asking for years—and it seems like the heavens are closed. But you’ve already become the answer to your prayer. God says: your prayer hasn’t fallen into emptiness.

Gospel of the Kingdom

And sometimes it seems like nothing changes. That the heavens are closed. That God doesn’t hear.

But look closely. You, who pray, are no longer the same person you were before prayer.

You’ve changed. You’ve become deeper. You’ve begun to see what you didn’t notice before. It’s God answering. Not with words. With you.

Your prayer doesn’t fall into emptiness. It returns to you. But not as the fulfillment of a wish. But as an opening up of yourself. As a transformation of your heart. Like a cleansing of your vision.

Do you ask for peace? God gives you peace—but not external peace. Peace in the heart. Do you ask for love? God gives you the ability to love—even when you are not loved in return. Do you ask for freedom? God frees you from what has held you back.

You are the answer to your prayer. Not because you are your own savior. But because God works through you. He grows within you.

Like a seed that grows underground before sprouting. Don’t despair because you don’t see the fruit. It’s already there. It is you.

This is Orthodoxy without illusions. This is living Christianity. The Bible is full of examples: Anna prayed for years—and became the mother of a prophet. Jesus Christ prayed in Gethsemane—and He Himself became the answer for all humanity. A soul that has gone through prayer is no longer the same. Humility grows in silence. Spiritual awakening begins with trust: God hears. Always.
