Why did humanity reject the God within itself?
Why has humanity rejected — or distorted — one of the most powerful things ever spoken: the words of Christ, "You are gods"? Why has this statement, recorded in the Bible, proven too difficult, too dangerous, too uncomfortable for so many?

People often fear freedom more than submission. It is far easier to live in a system where God is distant and unattainable than to accept that the source of life and light can be found within oneself. History shows that this living word was gradually transformed into formula, dogma, and grounds for accusation. What could have been a direct experience became part of a religious institution.
This is not about the destruction of faith, but about understanding why humanity sometimes turns away from the light — even when it sounds right before them. Is it possible today to hear again the words that once changed the world?
