I can do anything. But you don’t need everything you ask for

God can do anything, but not in the way you think. There’s a difference between power and wisdom, strength and love. God gives you what you need, not always what you want.

Gospel of the Kingdom

I can give you everything you want. But I only give you what you need. I can change circumstances—but sometimes I change you through them. I can take away pain—but sometimes pain is the only path to your freedom.

Trust in God isn’t believing in My power to do as you wish. It’s trusting God in My wisdom to do as you need. God’s will isn’t punishment for asking, but love that leads you to who you are meant to become.

My power isn’t in doing everything you want. My power is to make you who you are meant to be. God’s love doesn’t fulfill whims; it liberates. And if you seek faith in God, begin not with demands, but with trust: “Do not as I want, but as I need.”

Don’t ask Me to do everything you want. Ask Me to do what you need. This is spiritual awakening—when prayer becomes not a wish list, but an encounter with the One who knows the way
