God doesn’t wait for you to be pure—He gives it to you. That is what salvation is

You think the prodigal son was saved when he reformed. When he became worthy. When he proved he had changed.

But I tell you: he was saved when he allowed himself to be embraced. Still in filth. Still in shame. Still without merit.
