What separates you from God?

There is no real distance between you and God. Any separation you feel exists not as a wall to be broken down, but as a thought you believe — a thought so convincing that you begin to live as though your "I" stands apart from the One who is closer than a breath.

Gospel of the Kingdom

The Gospel of the Kingdom is not about how to draw closer to God, but about how to see that you were never separated from Him. Not about how to correct yourself, but about how to stop holding on to an image of yourself that needs correction. When the image of self disappears, only Presence remains. And it is this Presence that says: “You are not looking at Me. You are looking through My eyes. You are not seeking Me — it is I who seek Myself through your heart. You do not love Me. It is My love that recognizes itself within you.”

Silence is not the absence of thoughts, but the absence of the personality that considers thoughts its own. An honest look is not analysis, but the disappearance of the one who analyzes. Unity is not the dissolution of the person, but the realization that the spark and the flame have always been of the same nature. One cannot lose oneself when oneself as a separate entity never existed — one can only lose the illusion that obscured the Light.

God is not outside. He is the depth of your own “is.” And when the one who seeks God disappears, it becomes clear: He has always been the one seeking.
